Eric and I decided to dedicate a whole page to mindset because we think it’s paramount to maintain high motivation levels to obtain your ideal weight. On this page, you’ll find out how important your mindset is in achieving your goals. Whether it be weight loss, health, a career goal, a successful relationship, anything! If you want to achieve your goals you have to constantly keep telling yourself that you’re going to get there in the end as it’s so easy to get frustrated and let negative thoughts creep in. Try your utmost not to let doubt come into your mind. I know, it is easier said than done, right? I use to think the same! However, when I learnt how to apply positive thinking in my life, by learning about the different laws that govern the universe and how to use them for good, I started to see positive results almost immediately. My journey began by learning about hermetic laws of ancient Egypt, one of them being the Law of Attraction.
Law of Attraction
The law of attraction is, in simple terms, you attract to you whatever is similar in vibration. Furthermore, thoughts are energy. What you dwell upon and think about will attract the same kind of energy to yourself. The mind is powerful. Many people underestimate it’s power, you can use your mind to attract more of what you want and less of what you don’t want.
Example Visualization technique during a body detox cleanse
For example, visualizing yourself being at your ideal weight is a great technique to adopt. Here is one method you can try:
- Find a quiet place
- Close your eyes
- Lay down with your hands by your side or sit up straight in a chair with your feet flat on the floor
- Visualize yourself at the weight you desire
- Do this for 15 – 20 minutes a day
This is a technique I adopted to reach my goals whilst cleansing my body through the Total Wellness Cleanse. Focus on the End Result
The aim is to focus on the end result and not get too bogged down with ‘the gap’. I learnt a fantastic analogy of what is meant by this by Paul Scheele of Learning Strategies Corporation (introduced below, keep reading!), I will paraphrase the analogy here. Imagine a scene where you have to cross a huge gap such as a huge valley between two cliffs. You’re terrified of heights so your friend spurs you on by saying “Go for it, just don’t look down!” Inevitably, you’re likely to look down even though you’ve been told not to. However, what happens when you actually look down? You lose focus, fear takes you over and you may even chicken out and run back to the beginning of the bridge again! This can happen when you’re trying to reach your health and weight loss goals too. When you obsess about what you have to do to get to the healthier side you become distracted, lose focus and give up. Instead, focus on how you will look and feel in the end, as you do this opportunities will arise and you will have access to what you need to reach your goal. it will also keep you motivated throughout any weight loss journey you decide to choose whether it’s what I recommend as the best cleanse for weight loss or otherwise.
Introducing the Ideal Weight Paraliminal
A powerful audio session was recommended to me by Holistic Nutritionist Yuri Elkaim in March 2013. It is called the Ideal Weight Paraliminal. As the title implies, it can help you to achieve your ideal weight. It is an audio experience to activate your whole mind.
The power behind it is a trained neuro-linguistic programmer by the name of Paul Scheele. Each recording produces a 3-D sound that allows music to be projected spatially. The use of stereo headphones is a MUST to get the full experience, it really is amazing. It’s one of the best ways I have found to start the day.
