Colon Cleanse is an ancient practice said to remove harmful residues from the colon. These residues build up from food lacking in fiber. It moves at a slower pace through the digestive tract than more wholesome foods. This food produces excess mucus that literally sticks to the walls of the intestine, this is where parasites can breed as there is decaying fecal matter. If these waste materials remain in the body, they get absorbed into blood which is where illness can set in.
From my research, I have found reports that state
Your digestive system and bowels are there to remove toxins from the body so why do we need a colon cleanse?
This is true of our liver and kidneys, that is what they’re there for. I have also read other reports that a liver and gallbladder cleanse is more beneficial. However, if our digestive system alone can eliminate toxins, why are we so sick? Why are those that are healthy still suffering from diseases? This means we have to do more. If we constantly bombard our bodies with non nutritious food is there any wonder why our organs can’t cope? As I mentioned in the Do You Need a Total Cleanse? blog, it starts with your diet. We can cleanse our bodies naturally through food. As a result, not only will the colon be cleansed and undigested waste be passed through the system making way for nutrients to be absorbed, your WHOLE body will be cleansed and revitalized.
